Dr Chelumbrun has extensive experience in higher education. He worked as a lecturer at Napier University, The University of Mauritius, and University of Technology. Dr Chelumbrun has significant higher education leadership experience working as a Dean for the faculty of law and management at the University of Seychelles. During his 5 years in Seychelles he also developed a Bar Vocational Course which got the approval of the Seychelles’ Judiciary and is now being implemented to train law graduates for practice in Seychelles. He has strong communication and decision-making skills; and has experience evaluating, encouraging, and motivating staff and students. He has a proactive nature with exceptional leadership abilities. Dr Chelumbrun has a BSc. Chemistry and Biology from Panjab University, an MBA from Greenwich University, a PhD in Marketing from Greenwich University, and an LLB.(Hons.) from Wolverhampton University. He is also a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.
