Program Summary:

An Associate of Science degree with a Computer Science emphasis provides a quality educational experience to students. This degree exposes students to various general disciplines, as well as concepts related in the field of Computer Science. This degree program will prepare students for entry-level jobs in the Computer Science field, or allow them to further their studies in the US higher education system. This program prepares students to obtain a four-year degree by meeting the requirements for the first two years of a Bachelor's degree.

This program has an emphasis in Computer Science, which prepares students to pursue a career in computer science, engineering, or any related field. After completing this degree, students can find employment in their area, or they may continue with their education and complete a four-year degree at The American Campus.

AS-Computer-Science
Application Requirements:

1. Complete TAC application form

2. Submit photo ID (passport preferred)

3. Submit official copy of secondary school results: Transcripts, O-level results, or A-level results
*Students may apply by uploading soft copies of documents but must provide original hard copies upon acceptance into a degree program.

4. Submit proof of competence in the English language with one of the following:

  • TOEFL exam score of: 500 on the paper-based test, 173 on the computer-based test, or 61 on the internet-based test (iBT).
    *Scores more than two years old are not accepted.
  • IELTS score of 5.5 overall band score with a minimum of 5.0 on each sub scale
    *Scores more than two years old are not accepted.
