Associate of Science with a Business Emphasis

Program Summary:

An Associate of Science degree with a Business Emphasis provides a quality educational experience to students, exposes them to various disciplines, and prepares them for further study in the US higher education system. This program prepares students to obtain a four-year degree by meeting the requirements of the first two years of a Bachelor's degree. In addition, this program has an emphasis in business, which prepares students to start a career in business management or any related field. After completing this degree, students can find employment or continue and complete a four-year degree at The American Campus.

Throughout the duration of the coursework, students will also have the opportunity to attend workshops, seminars, and other activities that will prepare them for their future. Whether a student wishes to continue their education or enter the workforce, this degree will ensure students are set up for success!

Application Requirements:
  1. Complete TAC application form
  2. Submit photo ID (passport preferred)
  3. Submit official copy of secondary school results: Transcripts, O-level results, or A-level results
    *Students may apply by uploading soft copies of documents but must provide original hard copies upon acceptance into a degree program.
  4. Submit proof of competence in the English language with one of the following:
  • TOEFL internet-based (iBT) exam score of: 500 on the paper-based test, 173 on the computer-based test, or 61 on the internet-based test.
    *Scores more than two years old are not accepted.
  • IELTS score of 5.5 overall band score with a minimum of 5.0 on each sub scale
    *Scores more than two years old are not accepted.
  • Students who completed high school in the English language are eligible for an alternative English Interview and Essay in place of TOEFL or IELTS Examinations. Contact for more instructions regarding TAC’s English Interview and Essay for this program.
