Intensive English Program
About this Program:

This program is designed for students who wish to study in the English language but are not yet competent to do so. IEP students will improve their reading, grammar, writing, & speaking skills. Students will build upon their current English abilities with the goal of preparing to attend university in English. Upon completion of this program, students will be prepared to take external English proficiency examinations or to apply for a degree program at The American Campus, the University of Arizona, or other US universities.

The American Campus partners with the University of Arizona to offer this Intensive English Program (IEP). The University of Arizona is one of the nation’s top public universities, according to U.S. News & World Report. Established in 1885, UA is widely recognized as a student-centric university. The UA ranked in the top 25 in 2018 in research expenditures among all public universities, according to the National Science Foundation, and is a leading Research 1 institution with $687 million in annual research expenditures.

– Oral Communication

– Reading Skills

– Grammar

Students also have the opportunity to participate in professional development workshops, including CV preparation, job interviewing skills, and networking opportunities.

Pertinent Information:

Accreditation: Certificates are awarded through a partnership with the University of Arizona in the USA. This program is also under the approval process by the Mauritius Qualifications Authority (MQA).

Cost: The program cost is$6500 USD. Expenses such as housing and living expenses are not including in the price mentioned above.

Admission Requirements: To apply, students must submit: an application form, a copy of passport (or National Identity Card for Mauritians), and a copy of school results.
